Street Fashion Show Nieuwkoop
Nieuwkoop zaterdag 30 mei 2009. De Dorpsstraat van Nieuwkoop was het decor voor een Street Fashion Show geheel met rode loper.
Na de opening van de Burgemeester kon het publiek genieten van de modeshow gelopen door 15 finalisten Miss Queen of the World en enkele uit de omgeving afkomstige modellen. Zelfs een 15 maanden oude topmodel werd ingezet om de show met kinderkleding compleet te maken.
Speciaal voor dit evenement werd een verkiezing gehouden welke van de 15 Miss Queen of the World finalisten kans maakten om mee te lopen in kleding van couture modehuis Laurisa inspired.
De 5 gelukkige winnaressen mochten in evening dresses van Laurisa op de catwalk lopen.
Verder waren er badkleding kleding en lingerie te bewonderen van de firma Rosa Underwear en casual kleding van Flinth en kinderkleding van it’s for kids en sieraden van Body and Beauty.
“dit is leuker dan een tupperware party op een zaterdag” volgens een enthousiaste bezoeker op het terras van ‘t vliegend paard.
De couture blouse is gewonnen door een inwoonster van Nieuwkoop. Deze zal binnenkort haar blouse in ontvangst nemen in het pand van Rosa Underwear.

During this fashion show the 15 candidates of the Miss Queen of the World The Netherlands will walk on the Runway. The candidates will promote and raise funds for a charity initiative in Ghana.
This is the first time that a fashion show will be held in the streets of Nieuwkoop covered with a red carpet.
On this special event Laurisa inspired will dress only 5 candidates in 5 exclusive Haute Couture Evening Gowns.
You can choose your 5 favourite candidates and place your vote.
